Water Leaking inside.. Help!
I'm sure it's going to be my weather stripping/bad sun roof seals, since the car is 20 years old, but maybe others on the forum have had a similar issue.

It's been raining here in Houston, and that's a love hate situation for me. Love it cuz rain is a blessing from above. Hate it cuz everytime it rains, My car smells like a DAM SWAMP!!

(1) My car gets huge amount of water going into the Trunk area. This was the first problem I found. Also gets into my Tsuru lights, and thats because i didn't put the new "Black" glue Nissan puts on them upon install.

(2) I noticed yesterday my car was starting to smell like a swap again, after 2 days of non stop rain and my car being left outside, no garage, of course. I place my hand in the rear bottom seat floor board and found about 1/2" of water there. My car still has the carpet so when i placed my hand down firmly on the carpet, it was soaked pretty bad!

(3) Woke up in the morning today to a pretty nasty Fog and wet road. i counter yet a new problem. My car windshield had water drops, which i thought was from the outside. Put on my wipers to clear it away, and some goes away and some stays. At this point i'm like, WTF? I find out that the water marks that was on my windshield was on the inside and not outside. Wiped it down..

Anybody else have similar problems like me?? I <3 my car and will keep driving it even with the swampy smell , but Dam i have to fix this asap. Don't wan't nothing else messing up if problem persists.

Start off by re-sealing those tail lamps. use the dumb dumb putty and roll it into a snake or use automotive grade RTV. APPLY A LARGE BEAD! Start off by doing that fix.
There is so much moisture inside the car that its fogging up the inside of the front windshield. You can also climb into the trunk with a light and get someone to spray down the arse end of your car and see if there are anymore leaks.

Yes Yes, That's what i've gotta do.. For sure there's alot of moisture getting in. The water inside on the bottom of the rear seat is pissing me off tho. Sunroof seams weak too. When it's "fully closed" i can push up on it with little pressure, and the sun roof moves up.

we figured by the tsuru front lights... my car is doing the same thing. you're not alone. I'm just lazy and have a garage. 3 of the sentras I've owned done the same thing. Its an option from the factory.. leaking trunk + $349.99

the sunroof will move a lil. aint supposed to, but as long as it has full contact around the outside edge and there is no cracks in the seal, and the mating surfaces are clean, it should seal. unless its not secured to the glass itself; which happens; you'll have to gently pull it up, clean it, and squeeze some black or clear rtv underneath..
There is also drain tubes at each corner of the sunroof track assembly, designed to draw water away from the passenger compartment, down the A pillars up front, and C pillars in the rear.. If one of those is stopped up, you could be getting water everywhere. But then you would notice water on your seats, center console, headliner, shifter even...

start with the tail lights like dude said.. those are leaking. then do what he said with the water hose. then also pull the rear panels under the rear windows and run water over the windows to see if they leak... those windows use the same seal as the tail lights almost.
