Thread: Motor mounts (breaking off)

i was driving and my back mount broke off, i was just wondering how i could get the stud of the bolts out of the transmisson? please give me some advice! i dont know what else to do?

Personally I would take it to a garage and let them deal with the broken bolts

You will need to drop the tranny and used a bolt remover. If you lucky and the bolt was not side loaded it will come out. If you unlucky then more serious action will be needed. I have had to replace part of the tranny case due to this before.
