I originally started out wanting the rivet on flares until I saw the price of them. Need to hit the boneyard.

I almost bought some M3 flares last night...funny you mention this. They would look killer but they're not really functional in my case. They flare the top of the wheel well but not the back. I could use them as a jig and add some sheet metal but there are a lot of options out there.

I've got a few ideas...I'll keep you posted.

Bushwackers prices are outrageous.

If you need flares, the rubber/plastic flares from a mid 80's VW Cabrio or Golf may fit with a little trimming.

Here's what I came up with...I don't know if I like them but they'll work for this season. I'll fab something up next winter maybe that's more permanent and better looking. These are off of a suzuki samurai and really weren't easy to fit. They look pretty killer from the back, not digging the front as much.

...

Not too bad, if you could get another and cut it up and add it to the front you would be set. It would help with aero (lift from air hitting the front tire from at 45MPH up, takes away traction ie steering, braking, putting down power) and help round it out a bit more too
