I thought the shifting was proper man. I am just hoping I can find a feature on my ecu so I can spray but flat foot shift as well. I dont feel comfortable doing no lift shifts while spraying juice lol

Bes,

When I was on the JWT 100 shot I would not lift to shift at all. Even on the old school conventional spray set up I would not either. I don't understand why you would need a ECU feature.

Well that depends Rob,

On our cars its fine as we have an ignition cut rev limiter. Should have a window switch though to be safe and cut nitrous off just before the rev limiter.

My brothers SVT Focus that I put a Zex Wet kit on 75 shot ran good until he raced a supercharged si and srt4 and no lift shifted and missed 2nd gear. Problem with that was the Focus used a fuel cut rev limiter so things didnt end to well. Got away with it the first time but second time he melted holes in 2 of the exhaust valves and scorched the rest. Every cylinder had less than 50 psi compression and 0 in the two with holes in the valves. Had to rebuild the motor because of it.

Id imagine it could still happen on an ignition cut limiter as well just to more extent being you will basicly add nitrous and fuel to the mix before it ignites potentially doing the same thing.

Why would anyone wait to shift when the igniton is cut? Now ofcourse some sort of safety measure should be had if a gear is missed.

If you shift fast enough this will not be an issue. Trust me my car was bottle fed for many years and I never once had an issue.

Seems like it got real rich towards the end there or do you run that rich for a reason?

Nice passes!

I love your car man. Looks real good with those slicks up front.

Rob, my worry is causing damage. I never did it when I sprayed in fear of popping the motor hitting the fuel cut. Granted I always used wet kits but I still was sketched out. I just really fear it because as you know building a big motor is not cheap. If I know it can be done safely, I will be in heaven!

Looks even better with the 24.5's lol.

I started out with a NOS dry kit. 50 shot at first, then sprayed 75 through it for years. Bought this NX direct port setup when I decided to be serious about it lol.

flat shifting is awesome, just takes some getting used to. I kept forgetting about it, just because it's such a habit to pull my foot off the gas.
