Knocking Noise when Accelerating
Ok so I have this rapid knocking noise when engaging the clutch to accelerate. If I do it nice and slow I don't hear the noise but if it is basically normal or fast clutch engagement i hear the noise. At first I thought it was the motor mounts (which were bad) so I replaced those and it still happens now just not as easily. All the bolts under the car are tight so could it just be bad bushings? Oh and the knocking noise sounds like its right underneath my feet.

Sounds like a throw out bearing. How old id it or when was the last time you had the tranny off? Mabe one of the retaining clips.

Im not sure I just got the car 2 months ago. the clutch was replaced about 25,000miles ago. It doesnt sound like a tob problem and the clutch engages smoothly. And its pretty much only from a dead stop

Try checking the the oil level in the trans? I didn't have a hard knocking noise when I blew a seal but it was almost one.

i think im having the safe problem/symptom, noise is gone during cruising speeds but knocks when going from a start or harder acceleration? Ive been ignoring it since i figured it wasnt rod knock and getting to the throwout bearing is a hassle, for me at least.
