One of my customers had this same problem about 3 weeks ago he brought the ACT disk to me and there were no splines in there what so ever. It completly messed up the shaft also.

Some need to call ACT about this problem.

It happens from time to time. Not often but every now and then. I didnt have problems with my ACT clutch and it was a good 3 years old and lots of miles and abuse. Then I put a Comp twin disk in and within 1000 miles the splines stripped out. Didnt damage the input shaft at all but I called comp and they said they make the disks a softer metal than the input shaft to prevent damage to the input shaft. They would rather the splines on the disk give out than the input shaft.

Dont know why it happened, could have just been a bad set of disks but havent had an issue with any others so more than likely was a manufacturer defect. It happens from time to time. Depending on how old your disk is you should be able to have it covered by them. ACT usually has pretty good customer service.

Seen that on SR's a bunch , all different clutches , modded cars and stock .... 9 times out of 10 I find one or both of the transmission alignment dowels missing , causing an alignment issues ....No Idea If thats your issue , but something to look into !!

Its crazy how all these problems are happening with ACT. I use to run their products all the time and for the first time ever I went with a different brand. I am giving Clutch Masters a shot.
