It's the same as the idle mode link you posted. You can adjust both when the ECU is in that mode. Do idle first and go drive it, then do the timing mode.

Make sure it is NOT in diagnostic mode, other than that, follow, the revving and then unplugging TPS. If you unplug the TPS and the engine dies, turn the idle screw out a little. Then try again. It should idle with TPS unplugged and then adjust accordingly to about 800 RPMs. Also if you can turn the screw all the way down and the engine still runs even with TPS unplugged, you probably have a leak somewhere in the intake track, possible vacum leak. But since you say your car runs good, I doubt it.

Okay will do! thank you! So when the engine idles with the tps out and idles at a reasonable rpm like 800-900? thats when its fine? Oh and does not bog on throttle?

Yep, if it does bog, adjust the distributor until it revs quick and free of bogging.

So i went to orielys today and the guy was showing alittle attitude. Wanted to hit him lol maybe hes a honduh driver but anyways. On his computer it says distributor gasket so i think thats it because there isnt any other ring i know of. But the one in his computer is all round and i think mine is flat on the inside of the ring and should be round only on the outside?
