Plasti Dip?
Your thoughts. I am going to do some interior trim pieces in my truck.

But tempted to do the wheels. Has anyone else used this stuff?

It peels right off.

Is that your reason for using it ?

Stratton.

I have tried it a bunch of different things. It works good for tools pretty good, but strattons right, its not real durable.
I have seen some guys(mostly 4x4x trucks) use spray bedliner on their wheels and rockers, it holds up good if you prep it good.

I've used the stuff on my Outside Maxima emblems and even the fading chrome rain guard on the roof. The stuff holds up great to anything. Power wash and brushes. Do a search on YouTube and you will see many how to's for wheels or anything.

I think most who have problems with it didn't use it correctly, as most surfaces require the plasti dip primer first

Never used any type of primer any anything I've done. Only wiped off the surface with alcohol wipe. Best thing about this stuff, if you don't like what you sprayed, just peel it off. I'm going to spray my Maxima wheels in the next 2 weeks also.

Well so far I did the cluster trim piece behind the steering wheel. I used alcohol to prep the area.

It turned out great. Will post pics later. Now working on some more pieces on the interior.

If it's a piece that doesn't get rubbed up against often, it should last. My brother tried doing most of the plastic trim in his car, and some pieces didn't last (B-pillar trim by the seat belt and the lower trim by the rear hatch).
