Engine Bay Paint
Im thinking about re-painting the engine bay since the motors going to be out anyways. Idk if anyone's had personal experience with rattle can painting an engine bay, but what are your thoughts on it? The engine bay now looks decent but I want it to look clean once the new motors in. Thing is, I don't want to have to worry about the rattle can paint fading, cracking, etc. in the future. I know a lot of it has to do with the prep, but I just wanted to get some opinions and possibly some pics if anyone has any.

Dupli-color Engine Enamel available at Advance Autoparts.

No prep necessary.. no primer no sanding just clean and spray.

Tough, shiny, heat resisitant to a few hundred degrees.

Very unlikely to crack off.

I have painted anything from wheels, to fenders, to bays, to bumpers, to valve covers with this paint.

Unbeatable.

^ +1 I like Dupli-Color and Rustoleum paints.

I used rattle can on my old car and it turned out pretty good.

Painting an engine bay is definitely a 'form' thing. Does no function
