I'd look into a covered post after the fuse block in front. Makes it easy to connect everything in the bay, add something later, and a good jump point in front if you ever need it. BMW does the same in their cars, it's very very handy. Just make sure it's got a clip-on plastic cover to go over it.

i used 2 gauge, and grounded the negative through the rubber gromit avove the muffler through the trunk and bolted it to where the old exhaust hanger went.
