If you still want to go with it, I could probably sell you my Gspec Crank pulley.

Really? Is this common?

Well what about the de water pump pulley on there now. Is that an issue?

Very commonly known information, most just ignore it and figure it will still be fine. And I don't blame them, mine drove fine, but when you get into 7300+ rpm it felt a bit odd. Seems to rev to higher redlines smoother now .

Andreas Miko is definitely against pulleys on 4CW cranks, there are a few dozen threads with him explaining why he is against it.

DE water pump pulley = bad, your overdriving the water pump. Even stock VE water pump pulleys where bigger then DE's. Get a GSpec water pump pulley, it's like $50. Well worth it to prevent cavitation.

Glad I knew that... Shit. Been running that de waterpump pulley since dayone. No heating issues tho.. but looks like I need to change tgat out now. Damnit.

Let me know when you want to get rid of those pulleys. :-)

Heating issues are not the problem since it works fine down low. It's just in the upper RPM's it starts hating you .

Wayne if you have the UR DE waterpump pulley there is no need to change it out. If you just have a regular stock DE water pump pulley it would be a good idea to change it out for one that underdrives(larger pulley) the pump.

All this pully talk has got me 2nd guessing my setup, fidanza gspec crank wp and a ps light weight pully.... Im wondering if I ditch the fidanza and say get an sr16 flywheel to add weight, would that matter if is it specificly the crank or crank pully that needs to go?

I'm not understand what the issue is here. Are the DE and VE Stock water pump pulley's the same size?

What I have on the VE now is the stock crank pulley and the UR water pump pulley that came off the DE.

So what's the truth here....Can I or can I not use the UR DE water pump pulley on the VE?

Once again....Some people's common knowledge that is not shared when it comes to this matter. All because no one makes a pulley set but GregV for the VE. Atleast that I know about.
