I don't see how you are going to tighten your spark plugs so tight that they snap like that. If you are stupid enough to actually do that, then you deserve the headache that results from it. I've never seen anyone overtorque a spark plug.
As far as NGK claiming their stuff doesn't rust etc, they are full of crap. I've taken plugs out of tons of DET, VE, and even my wife's GA, all had rust issues. Again, this likely came from detailing under the hood, but they claim their stuff doesn't rust and that's crap. Hands down.
I will take my wife's NGK plugs out on video and show you what they do after 20k miles. Last time I took out cylinder 1, I made damn sure I put antiseize on the plug before I put it back in.
Here's when I use antiseize: When you start taking a plug out, and the metal starts "crying" or making squealing noises, then make sure you use antiseize.
Not everyone has their plugs strip out in the head, but if it happened to you... just once... would you chance it?
If you change your plugs very often then you are probably ok. But I would run some in there. One application lasts through like 4-5 plug changes if you change them often. And since when is antiseize not good to have around? Am I right?
