lol,,, mine was made when I ordered it, not very many Nx custom fit covers will found on shelves..


the company I deal with only makes them when someone orders one, so Yes they are 100% custom made for our rides....oh btw the name brand is the biggest name in the car cover biz and I'm going directly through the actual Manufacture that makes them for the name your paying for therefore I'm going over someones head on this deal .. lol but hey anything for you guys



ok here's the deal ... if you guys really want a Awesome deal on the best quality material availible I will put together a group buy....

I just got off the phone with my manufacture a second ago and I've already got a deal that I'm comfortable with and I'm sure you guys will jump on board but I need to see how many would be interested before I go any further with a "group buy for car covers"

It will happen more out in the elements, but would otherwise happen whenever you take it off or put it on. Really anytime that the material will rub up against the paint.

I really can't remember if it was store bought or not. Wouldn't hurt to check I guess.

Any idea on cost per cover verses a group buy? Because the time line is what I'm looking at right now. Winter is knocking hard right now and I need one as soon as I can. And I know you get what you pay for but money right now with being on a slim budget and the holidays coming up for the little one is a concern.

I already have a set price for a group buy and it's a nice little savings from straight retail..


just to give you guys an idea on the quality of these covers.. this set of pictures where taken 7 years from the first set I posted earlier in this thread.. I believe I purchased my first cover in 2001 so mine is at least 10 years old,, I've used it several times and have left it on the car for weeks at a time with rain and winds as normal..

the last pic is 2 minutes after I took the cover off after 3 days and there's no marks, no smears, No scratching..

I'd be looking for one for my NX and one for the Sentra...

to help keep this simple here are the categories involved in a car cover the better protection you want the higher the cost..



Rain Protection ,, resistant to acid rain/snow/hail damage

Sun Protection ,, blocks 99% UV rays

Material Breath ability ,, allows moisture to evaporate / blocks dust

Sap/Droppings ,, material won't stain/washable

Softness ,, protects without scratching while it's covered


alright guys,, in your own words tell me what you want out a car cover,

how good of a cover do you guys really want?

I know when it came to buying one for my Nx I looked at all aspects of the value in materials for car covers and I wanted something really good and now 10 years later I wouldn't even dream of doing anything different than what I got the first time because I made the best choice I could have made..

For me, everything but sap/droppings

so you don't think a bird is going to crap on it? lol





sometimes I just want to get out the ol'daisy and go to town.. lol
