Let's Talk Car Covers.....
So I'm in the need for car cover for this coming winter season. And I'm looking around and I'm having an issues with finding one with side mirrors cutout, or more rather not cut outs but extensions.

So for you all with them.. Do you recommend a good one. Price is and money is kinda limited to what I can spend due to the holiday season coming up soon so I don't really want to kill my wallet.

Any info is greatly appreciated...

When I had my car out side I just used a Walmart cover, I think of was like $40. If I had to buy another ill spend the extra money and get one a little better....

I didn't buy the super cheap one but the one above that. Next time it will be the more expensive one.

Couple years ago I got a Covercraft Evolution car cover for the b13. Custom made with mirror extensions and antenna hole for 100 bucks. Not that cheap but I couldn't ask for any better quality. There was a guy on here that was selling a real Nissan one for a b13. Not sure if it's still on here.

Well this is for a b14. Quality isnt really an issue. Just for the fact that the car will hopefully be in the garage for the winter. If then outside then it will be high high quality.

well Wayne I tried to get something like this going a while back but quality vs price over ruled and I simply dropped the group buy deal I had worked out with the manufacture... I only deal with the best type(material) because when it comes to car covers you definitely get what you pay for..

the manufacture that I will only use does exact fit, they are the top of the line material and have the highest rated warranty available.. mine is a little over 7 years old now and it still looks brand freaking new ,, oh yeah mine is the outdoor cover and it's never been garage kept while the car was covered.. fits like a glove on both my Nx's... I'm very happy with it and can't understand why someone would buy those cheap imitations.. the cheap one scratch the paint everytime you cover the car and remove it from the car, the cheap one WILL tear in high winds!!

good luck my friend on finding one you will like..

That's pretty nice Larry.

Now was this hand made / custom to fit your car or was this and off the shelf but high quality?

This is the one I have Wayne. It's cheap, and it covers the car, which is really my only two criteria for it. Although I will continue to use, I would never suggest it to any of my clients. It has some tears, and it does instill micro marring.

Well with the micro marring. Does that happen out in the elements or does it matter?

The reason I ask is because I plan on giving the car a nice wash and wax before storage if I have time and then covering it and working on it as I can.

Well I know a lot of your clients are higher end cars as well. Plus my paint isn't the best right now.

Also did you get this online or store bought?
