need help or advice on my vvl
ok my cars a 91 se-r with a vvl. it has stock piping (for now) and de maf and ecu. its getting SHIT for gas mileage im getting about 10-15 miles a gallon i wasnt complaing before but now its getting to me i got 35 miles to 3 gallons!!! my idle sucks!im thinking ecu issue?but damn what can i do to get decent mileage for now?

1. Cut back on "CAM POPPIN"

2. Raise your timing to 18*- 20* being on a DE ecu

3. Reground and clean MAF and TB.

4. Make sure your o2 sensors are properly functional

5. Gut that catalytic converter!

6. If your muffler is bolted to the exhaust with a flange, put a washer inbetween the two flanges then bolt back up.

Retune your ECU.
