Because of this, the hose he bought was too big for one of the bungs and he had a leak still. He ended up having to buy an OEM hose to make sure it would be the right sizes.

I'm still convinced the hose I took off my car and the one I replaced it with was the same diameter on both ends.

Just take your time and know what you're up against and you will be fine.

I had to fix one on a 92 nx and a 91 se-r ...both cars had the hose with 2 different diameter ends.Maybe Nissan changed it in 94 to make it the same???
I tried to use the larger size on both ends but it was really hard to get it to stop leaking entirely.
I ended up getting the correct one off a parts car....come to think of it,I robbed it off my track project,so I need to get one from GregV I guess.

Thats how I discovered my leak .If I filled up,there would be a puddle under the car.
Then I had a half tank and put the car up on ramps and it started leaking.....thats when I fixed it.
Apparently I was leaking enough to hurt my gas mileage, because it went up 3-4 mpg

That's what I had going on. Anything over 50% fuel and it would leak. One day I filled it up all the way and parked on a very steep hill and fuel was absolutely gushing from the rear of the car. That's when I found out I had a leak, and that's why I went ahead and just bought all new hoses. I was convinced they'd all busted open at once.

lmao. yeah i was at my friends house and i just happen to fill it all the way up. (very rare lmao)I parked it and was talking to one of my friends when i kept smelling fuel..Looked under the driver rear wheel and saw the huge puddle.... I could tell you right now i was SALTY as hell cause gas was almost 4 dollars at the time..

By the way this thread made me remember i had that problem.. so i threw it on the lift( im currently at work) and saw the small little tare.. not saying its the best thing to do but i just put a nugget of RTV on it and let it dry.. started the car turned it off.. Took my gas cap off and now i got all kinds of pressure!. Hope this saves me a few miles on gas now!

Had the same issue on 2 b13's. bought a foot of ethanol approved fuel hose, cut to fit, put 2 clamps on each end of hose, done.
