This can also cause the bolts to snap off in the case rendering you stranded because the shifter no longer functions properly (happened to me). The person I bouught it from left out some bolts and replaced some with SAE instead of metric.

it can also be loose control arm bushings, worn ball joints, loose axle to engine center bearing. any of those can cause movement in the drivetrain and load/unload under different engine conditions. engine won't move but it will feel like it does if wheel is moving forward or back

Guess who went to Nissan the next day and bought all new bolts for that mount. Luckily I had a spare case laying around to swap my stacks into or it would've cost me quite a bit of money.

Going down to the dealer to buy all missing bolts, I sure hope this is the cause, I'd rather have everything bolted up the right way to have a piece of mind anyhow. Ok so what about that pad that sits on the cross member though does this play into this as a factor at all?

I will recheck all of those areas but everything was torqued to spec when I installed the master bushing kit.

If you are still convinced this is not normal........... its not you engine mounts........its impossible for it to be your mounts. i would starting checking your engine for misfires.
I was expecting the extra driveline vibrations I have had polymounts in my B14 in the past they have worked superb I could not ask for more, Just in the B13 I own now they are working like shit, but hey we shall see, The rev matching has been working out for me though alot easier on the clutch and drive train all together. Especially with this six puck.

IIRC thats just a dampner to smooth out residual engine vibrations on stock mounts. I just went ahead and removed mine. Won't do anything when you've got prothanes.

So I just installed all missing bolts every last bolt has been torqued down in the engine bay to fsm spec. This issue has better be solved or a very angry e-mail will be sent to prothane. Taking the car out for a test drive very soon.
