um.......fuel cut is for setting redlines and such. with to much air your going to run super lean and melt the piss out of your engine. you truely need to do some more research prior to simply throwing parts at a car. you really should have everything all mapped out beforehand.

Or cant i just add the 550c injectors and a walbro 255 fuel pump

keep everything else, all i would need is a tune right?

Sooooo would i be straight keeping the cams, cam gears, valves, valve springs, retainers, headgasket

add fuel pump and injectors?

Honestly I didnt map everything out good enough, I should have done more research

but anyways what ya think, i can keep what i ordered but order the 550c injectors / fuel pump

What is it that you want to achieve? Is your car taken apart or is it currently running?

I have this nasty ass VVT rattle

So i had some extra money and I though why not get cams

its taken apart

the heads off

waiting to get resurfaced

What i want to acheive is the vvt rattle eliminated, and anything over .5 hp/tq gained ill be happy

thats aiming low, I know realisticly i want some more performance too...

Mods/setup on the car? Rattle is it for sure coming from the vtc? To eliminate the VTC just get an S13 cam gear and bolt. You would then be able to buy s13 cams (bs's, tomei, etc.)

The aftermarket valves are a waste of time and very costly, you have to pay for the valves and machine work, for nothing, stock valves are perfectly fine. If you are worried about them sealing, just lap the stock ones. Super cheap and easy to do.

Same with retainers, you don't need them. You also don't really need the springs unless you are revving over 7500 rpm which is pointless with the t28, or you go crazy with the cam gears....

All you really need to eliminate the VTC is a B13 or S13 cam gear and bolt. Drops right in. If you have the stock jdm sr20det ecu with stock 370cc injectors and the jdm maf no reason that you can't pick up the boost. Get the car up and running first.

First things I would buy/modify is the fuel setup for sure. At least 550cc, a real walbro 255. If you are in south florida call up nipponpower. They for sure have in stock ocally and at a great price. You also got penty of local sr20 gurus and mechanics available to you. Any more questions feel free to pm me.
