I know the bolt holes are different on the VLSD crown wheel, and i don't think its just oblt holes, i think the actual diameter of the ring where it seats on the differential is a different diameter (as the VLSD is R180 and the Open diff is R160 size) so making it fit doesn't sound like an easy process.
Why don't you buy a Cusco LSD for the VZR transmission you already have? Not sure of the price difference, but id say it would be worth it.
I will take a look at the Par website and see if there is anything available there.
Ireland and Europe are much the same as Australia in that all of our SR20 powered cars are A series and the only option for V boxes is to get one from a VZR being broken.
I have considered the Cusco LSD but it was mainly the price factor that is swaying me more to the Quaiffe as it is about £650+shipping from the UK(no customs) and the Cusco is about €900 shipped and then have 3% import duties+ 21% VAT+ handling fee so that would easily see the fee shoot up to over €1000. Considering how rare they are second hand as well I doubt i'll find another, although a friend managed to find an MZ type (lots of fun with power steering deleted lol)
Cheers for your help bud.
I have read that there are 4.3FD A series boxes but on like W10 Primera and there are also 5.0FD available for the A series boxes in Estonia as well but i've a feeling this might be a bit extreme for a daily as the 4.44FD of the SR16VE tranny was enough for a daily sitting at 3500rpm on the motorway
