when getting machine work
im thinkin about doing an 88mm ve build, was reading some stuff on cp's site that says they prefer a cross hatching of 35-40* thats something i would want to tell the machinist right? what else would i want to tell them?

Kool I was planning do this on mine sometime next year. Update us if u start on this 88m VE build. Also what compression u plqnning get?

lynch if you look back on the old forum i proposed this close to 4 or more years ago.

alot of people have talked about it, but no one has done it yet. i would have but i went much bigger. my next build will be a 88mm build.

i recommend this, bring the whole piston box to the machinest hell know exactly what to do.

tell me what cams your using and i can give you wat compression to go with.

head work, knife the crank, the lighter the better, good custom header and a really good tune and you will have a very healthy responsive motor.

Thats the least of our worries imho.

Get ahold of veilslide180sx. He's got a local builder that can do your bottom end.

I'm going to just go 12.5 to be on the safe side..

I'm. Planning on stayin pretty simple at first.. Just reuse my crank an rods and my n1 cams.. Might upgrade cams in the future but I think the n1's will work great for a while..

Was also going to get one of them 4-1's you got the hook up on

I really want to be over 200whp this year.

And ya I noticed its been talked about but not many people ha ve done it. I'll. Share all the results
