Yeah most people on here can get away with aftermarket axles. I used an autozone passenger side axle on my car after i broke my OEM one at the strip on a dead hook 8000 rpm launch on slicks. Did several more pulls on the street and never had an issue with the autozone axle. Yes the material of the main shaft from the trans to the carrier is thinner but oh well. Had buddies use aftermarket ones for years without problems. Most on here have no need for an upgraded axle.

i get "remanufactured" axles from shucks aka o'rileys an haven't had any issues.. just look for the green paint.. it'll be on there somewhere they dont always get it all off.. also look for the rubber balancer thing between the boots on the shaft.

ever get an axle stuck in the trans? an i mean passenger not driver side... its bad news.. anyone who doesnt believe check my project thread

If you ever brake one of those cheap ones inside the tranny you can kiss your diff. goodbye. I damaged two diffs like that. Instead of a clean break they explode into little chunks. I was going to get some from Raxles but i guess that's out of the question.

Wow, it's kind if a sloppy warranty:
STANDARD LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
RAXLES warrants to the buyer of any axle that it is free from any defects in workmanship and material for ever, subject to the following conditions: a) The product is properly installed, used and maintained. b) Determination as to the existence and nature of any defect in workmanship or product shall be made by RAXLES, and all such determination shall be final. c) If the unit has been disassembled or modified in any way by any other party other than RAXLES, the warranty shall be considered null and void. Also not covered under the warranty: 1) Repair or replacement following collision (including collision with curb), racing or commercial use, off-road use, or any comprehensive insurance claim; 2) In the case of FWD axles, excessive damage to components due to torn boots is not covered. Inspection of boots should be part of regular vehicle maintenance. d) Purchaser must have original invoice number and date. e) RAXLES is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages. Also not covered are the labor and materials that may be necessary to remove a defective unit or to install a replacement unit. f) If all of the above terms are met RAXLES will either replace the defective unit free of charge or refund the original purchase price, at our discretion. g) To the extent permitted by law, this warranty shall be in lieu of any other warranty, expressed or implied. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. LIABILITY: Our liability is limited to the value of the unit sold or furnished. If goods are defective we have no other responsibility beyond the value of the defective unit at RAXLES. IMPORTANT NOTICE; Purchase of any product or service furnished by RAXLES shall constitute the buyer's acceptance of RAXLES sales policies and terms.

and in the sidebar:
RAXLES warrants to the buyer of any axle that it is free from any defects in workmanship and material forever.

There. They define lifetime as "forever." Wow!

well, because i didnt have a two step on my 60 trim turbo setup with basic ecu. So I would preload at about 5k and then when the tree would fall, second yellow bulb lit up and i would punch the gas to the floor and dump at the same time. This worked really well when i was on the old worn down 24.5X9's that were down to the threads and on a less prepped track. Cut 1.68 60's.

It didnt work soo well with the 25X8.7's brand new m&h's at 8psi in the tires and on a very very good prepped track. lol.

Mine broke at the hub

Ive seen a couple break inside the trans and it was an easy fix. Just gotta pop out the drivers side axle and punch the broken piece out. It usually breaks right past the seal. Never any damage done to the diff. You must have been really unlucky then to damage your diff.

Ya know teal it might be time to ditch those prokits.. Over lowering is hard. On axles..

My passenger axle would click when turning or if I had a car full of people it would click from a. Stop to about 20mph.. Put roadmagnets on an It hasn't made a peep since

OEM/Raxle or bust.

Any other aftermarket is gamey.

I would love, absolutely LOVE to hear what brands work!

Jimmy, what brand are the aftermarket axles that you get?

I am running... AUTOZONE axles lol.

Hey, they work and they are decent price. I broke two cardone axles, they were both new ones, not reman.

I am running factory spec V axles now, since I am 6 speed.
