Thread: 2011 U13 Bluebird (SR20DE inside)

Rebirth of the U13 Altima (1st gen)... lots of pics!!

Apparently Nissan has been selling this U13 Bluebird in China and if you go over the pictures you will realize that under the plastic cover there's a SR20DE.

I thought the SR20DE production was over a long time ago tho

interesting! and its a high port too! that would be cool if someone could get more pics of the engine bay with the cover removed. i bet there are alot of nice reshaped brackets and things all the nx's and se-r's could use over here to clean things up! even that engine cover might look kinda nice in a cleaned up b13 or b14 bay.

its like a blast from the past. its even got that canister everyone removes on the front there.

If those engines are made in China I'm not really convinced they are the same good ol Sr20 we are fond of. I'm just not a fan of the quality of Chinese products.

Am I missing something, but them posts are from 2004. Can't assume it's a 2011 as the title thread states.

You're right, I took it from a local forum stating it was a 2011 but after a quick search I found out that is a 2004 model using a Chinese built SR20DE :o

It's made by DongFeng - Nissan in china...

Dongfeng Motor Company Limited is a joint venture between the Dongfeng Motor Corporation and Nissan Motors. It produces the Nissan Sunny, Nissan Bluebird, Nissan Teana, and Nissan Tiida for sale in China.

It's actually a car full of luxury stuff, don't know about quality though..

It would be kinda nice to have a fresh motor that's never been modded from one of these. And +1 on what classicaddict said the brackets and engine cover would be nice.
