G20 front suspension. Does not compute.

Did the bushing squeeze itself out of the bolt? Was the washer missing?

I don't think there's a washer that goes behind that bushing. Don't remember any on the NX, and the G20 A-frame really isn't too far off from a B13. That's the bushings I couldn't get out when I installed my master kit. Those will be the toughest bushing to remove from a P/B chassis. Gotta have a lot of miles to bust that one out.

Wait, is that an ES bushing? If so it's 2 piece, and could've just worked itself out from alot of bumps?

my rear sway bar bushing kept popping out on me, so i put some rtv around the bar then put the pushing on then put rtv on outside of the bushing then put the clamp on.. its been good for over a year

Could be from powersteering fluid or oil soaking it .Over time it will swell up the rubber.
I had a NX that happenned on the swaybar bushings and the control arms one the same side from a powersteering leak that the previous owner didnt fix. They just drove it and kept filling it up.

I just installed these under 5k miles ago so power steering fluid shouldn't have had that much time to go crazy. Not to mention its on both sides. Not just the p/s side.

Umm im pretty sure there is supposed to be a washer on that other side to keep the bushing in. Especially since its a two piece design. The b13/b14 lower control arm are similar but we have a slot that that part of the control arm goes up into and then a bolt and nut that go through to hold it. No way for the bushing to come out, period. There is a washer on the outer side why wouldnt there be one on the other to keep the bushing in place. Pretty sure your missing the washer. Especially if it happened on both control arms.

That is the consensus that BenFenner and I came to earlier as well. New bushings to replace the busted ones (with washers this time) will go on Saturday when they get here.

Anyone need the big bushing part that goes in the rear of the arm? They will be F/S as mine are fine
