Wouldn't you want the correct brake pedal? Or I guess you could cut the automatic one down?

You'll need a shift boot too and the center console piece it connects to. And you'll need this piece.

You might also need an ECU from a manual car. Possibly some re-wiring?

I wouldn't cut the pedal it would be much easier to get the right one

I just cut my pedal when I did the auto to manual swap, took less than a minute with a dremel.

Axles and all mounts minus the passenger side mount the auto ecu will be fine. The cable for the auto shifter needs to be kept in park, or ur key cylinder will not turn

I'm confused on this. He's going from auto to manual, so removing the cable for the auto shifter is necessary. How does keeping it in park do anything when the auto shifter assembly is removed and replaced with manual shifter linkage and shifter?

He's not talking about the shift cable, he means the cable that goes from the shift lever to the ignition. what u do is remove it but set it in park so the key can be removed.

@#7,8,9 There's a key lock solenoid on the back of the ignition switch. It's held on by 2 screws. Just take that off and problem solved. You will need a real short stubby phillips to get the screws out. once this is removed your problems are solved. I just did this recently after my swap. You will still have to hook up your neutral switch though for the car to start, or just bypass it. As long as that's hooked up and the shift lock control box is hooked up then your key will come out fine. Mine did, but I recently rewired it the right way for a manual car. I replaced the 6 post inhibit clutch relay, with a 4 post clutch interlock relay. I've spent hours in the FSM researching all of this stuff.
