Lotta guys tried them years ago. They don't work. MAF gets very confused and you end up going slower.

Your referring to a WAI (Warm Air Intake)?

I truly appreciate the response Ben. I am kind of curious, though if I got the car tuned under ram air conditions would it work then?

^ That is interesting. I would try it , is that your car blackwater?....this is what I am trying to find out from everyone. Who used it and it worked for them and who used it and didn't have so much great results.....maybe we can come up with a solution.

if you did a ram air you would want to do it like that guy did ^^ or if you ran filterless you would want to use a maf that has a screen in it to help with all the turbulent air

I can see it working on a blow-thru maf setup without any turbulence issues.
