Where is cruise control talked about in the FSM for a B13?
I'm attempting to get my cruise control hooked back up. I haven't been able to find anything about it in the FSM though. I have fond a bit of info here and there. I'm not sure if the neutral or clutch switch has anything to do with it.

i know off-hand that both will turn off the cruise when engaged. as to where in your FSM it is I don't know, but I can tell you that much at least.

If you push in the clutch, cruise turns off. If you push to neutral it will also shut off cruise. This prevents over-revving and damage.

^^^Thanks for the input. It only confirms what I've been thinking. I have a M/T ASCD installed now. So, the only thing not hooked up would be my neutral switch, and clutch switch. Although, I see the neutral switch playing a factor, but there are 2 switches on the clutch. The one I know that cancels cruise would be facing the driver on the pedal, same for the brake pedal. The clutch switch facing the fire wall is actually the neutral safety switch. That ties in with the neutral switch in the tranny (in parallel I believe), so you can start in either neutral or with the clutch pedal fully depressed. I may be wrong though. That's why I need to find it in the FSM to see how all of these systems are hooked up, and how the work in relation to one another, or tie in together. As of now my cruise wont even activate. Also I was wandering if the A/T shift lock would affect any of this?

clutch and brake switch will shut it off.....if you push it into neutrel without using the clutch it will not shut it off and you can over rev the motor....
what other questions do you have?

I understand that completely. There are 2 switches on each pedal though. A cruise cancel switch on each one, then the brake light switch and neutral safety switch. Both of my cruise cancel switches are hooked up correctly. My neutral switch on the tranny isn't hooked up right now, which I could see being a problem. I see your point about accidental neutral. Once I get that broken switch replaced hopefully it'll be fine. I can't get my reverse switch out either. They are both seized in. Would a torch help ease them out? That's something I've been wanting to try. My only other unanswered question is where in the FSM is this covered? I'd just like to see the schematics. And thanks to you as well for your input. Every bit of info is much appreciated.

Well, I was just outside working on the NX. I unhooked the shift lock controller, and unscrewed the key lock from the ignition switch. I don't think that has anything to do with nothing anymore. Then I started the car, and unhooked the neutral switch wires I had spliced together. I tested the cruise by holding down the ON button, and coast set at the same time. Finally the cruise light started flashing. I hooked the neutral wires back up, and that cut it off. Thanks for your help guys. Now I just need the change out my trans switches, and I'll be good to go.
