Thread: b13 se-r injector issues

my buddies 93 se-r has been having injector problems.. injectors 2 and 3 failed a month ago so we put in some of my good used injectors i had off a 96 se-r. we installed them and then it was running great back to normal with no issues. so just recently 2 days ago injectors 2 and 3 failed again theres power to the injectors but somehow injectors 2 and 3 died again.. the car has no more than 100 miles since we replaced them injectors..

what could be causing this to much resistance to the injectors and keeps messing them up? bad ecu?.. any ideas? were lost here..

bad ground possibly? I would just take some readings and get out the ol' wiring diagram.
IIRC the injectors are wired into sets, two for one bank and two for another and each bank has their own ground. For example cylinder 1,4 are cousins (one is up, four is up) and 2,3 are cousins. I'm assuming that each bank of injectors is giving two squirts per engine cycle, I may be wrong but because 1 is on intake, and 4 is on exhaust the fuel spraying when 1 is on intake is actually being wasted in 4, the same would go for 2,3.
