Yesterday I ordered the alignment pins from the dealer. They should be in next week. In the mean time, I will be messing with cable adjustment again to see whether I can improve things.

Thanks again for the input -- I'll report back when I get this resolved.

EVERY nissan/datsun i`ve ever driven has weirdness going into reverse...my old 620...a b12 i had years ago and both Z cars i had did that....and of coarse the NX has the weird reverse thing....just gotta come up on the clutch pedal a little bit....good luck and definatly let us know when you solve it what it was! =)

the chopped shifter makes it feel extra goofy i think....the 4th gear notch is way worse with the chopped shifter....gonna try to get the same shifter as jess at some point...feel kinda stupid for getting that stock one from the JY but oh well....LOL

my 4th notch only messes with me when i try to do a quick down shift, so i just go to 3rd from 5th, saves time while im tryin to keep assholes at bay.. LOL
