AT vs. MT radiator
is there any difference beyween an auto or manual trans radiator for my nx???

AT radiator has a built in tranny cooler, just one nipple on each side at the bottom for tranny fluid to flow through.

so i can use the auto trans rad for my manual trans nx without a problem?......good...well i just did the VW headlight swap and hit the rad with the sawzall and it started bleeding all over the place



but the light are efffnn sick!

serban, can i use the trans cooler for PS? or can i cap it off and not use it at all?

I just cut the nipples off my auto radiator that were for the tranny cooler. Havent had a problem for three years since I did the 5-speed swap.

i wonder if you can actually use that to cool something else like PS fluid or such.. n e ways i have one on my 5 speed and i dont have a problem

You could tap the block and use the oil cooler lines to cool the engine oil instead of tranny fluid. I got an aftermarket radiator that was made for auto as well as manual, and that's what I'm planning on doing with mine...

where did you find an NX radiator for that cheap?
