Sounds like your O2 sensor is busted or you don't have a fifth gear.

Overdrive . Odd I read the auto part, but my mind forgot it knowing how bad auto's are and that no one would willingly put themselves through that pain

Hmm.

I used to get about 33MPG hwy in the red B14, with both DE and VE. I could easily do 350-400 per tank. Same with the P10 RR.

At the moment, I can barely squeeze 300-350 per tank on the highway (p10 LOLr ROKr). I will say though, I was able to get 320 out of a tank on the interstate keeping it in the triple digits almost the entire time. The other way, I only got about 350 and that was keeping it at a more sane pace.

The biggest problem is all that damn Ethanol. For the record, I decided to use Chevron 89 octane for one fill up, over my usual Hess or Citgo 87 octane, I'm convinced I got more MPG out.

^^^ I always use Chevron. If I have to fill up with some other brand on a trip I notice a mileage drop from that tankfull.

I always use Shell, or only top tier gas. Never had luck with Hess, Exxon, Sheetz, etc.

Now there is a Southern States gas station that is advertising 100% pure gas. I will try them out soon .

Really? No luck with Hess? I am getting 27,28,29 MPG with them now. So if I drive 2 miles more to Shell I will get more MPG??

Maybe, but your car might run a bit better. Stick to Top Tier gas and you should be good.

I use Hess all the time, but I would say Chevron is a ton better, I just don't have a Chevron in my neighborhood.
