I Have no 02 sensors hooked up, also running stock ve injectors on DE ECU. 93 octane. New Fuel filter. Old fuel pump assembly.. Could the lines be causing it to be bad???

My 218xxx DE was running about the same or a little less MPG. My DE had the 02 sensor hooked up, which is also brand new..

It's possible... read post #7.

Normal driving in the SE-R will net you around there... keep in mind though (assuming by his screen name) has a b14, which have a larger tank capacity than b13's. That's why its better to post your mpg and not miles traveled.

for ex.

330 mi for a 11.1 gallon fillup is around 30mpg
330 mi for a 12.8 gallon fillup is around 26mpg

Edmunds says both have 13.2 gallon tanks. Never owned a B13 so can't vouch for it myself.

Agreed, miles per tank is useless. You just about never ever ever fuel up the exact same amount. It's just too hard to guess.

Yes, this is so true.. didn't think about that.. Will obviously, the b13 tank is smaller than the b14. and i highly doubt the b13 tank holds 13.2 gallons.. more like 12 gallons tops.. I remember when i had my b14 ser, it was making around 265 miles per Tank @ 70% city and 30% hwy w/ a/c.

Cars.com says it too: 1993 Nissan Sentra Standard Equipment and Specs

Now unless you have serious balls, you will never fill up 13.2 gallons. You really really have to drive the car empty. Most I've ever filled was 12 gallons and the light was on for more then 30 miles.

With no O2 sensor the ECU has to go by the fuel maps, aka open loop. That means it will run what ever they say. With O2 sensor, it will tune itself to 14.7 until you WOT it basically.

Two ways to get around this...
1. Get an O2 sensor
2. Get a Tunable ECU and make the fuel map leaner while cruising.
