Fuel gauge reset?

When reinstalling the fuel gauge to the cluster, if the needle gets moved by hand will it move back to the correct position when everything is hooked back up?

I don't see why it wouldn't, unless the needle got messed up somehow by moving it

Yes it will move back to the correct location. Only time there's a problem is if you take the needle off and the shaft moves and the needle gets put back on in the wrong location.
