Bad ball joints = excessive tire wear?
Not just 1 sided wear but all around wear... My ball joints have been bad for about 2 months or so and I checked them today the front tires were basically bald... They are past the wear indicators and all that @ 13k miles

Blah... I JUST got good on my money after buying the transmission and clutch and now this ahhh I would say its ok if I could actually burn rubber but the clutch just slips so its not from driving bad..

Edit: Also the tires are worn in the middle and not the outer edge which would indicate over inflation... Last person to touch my tires was americas tire, the place I bought it from, when I last had them rotated...

you should check your own tire pressure once a week even if they look normal. even if you take it to a reputable shop you should recheck you pressure, i wouldnt be blaming them.

and ball joints will only normally cause wear on one side from everything ive seen.

Bad ball joints can just mess up your whole alignment geometry. Its not the main thing that effects alignment but it does have effect.

Rotate your own and check the tire pressure twice a month. I'd guess you are geting the wear from over inflation. A lot of over inflation.

also; I usually get a pair mounted and balanced at the used tire place down the block from me for $80. Oem tires like Michelin, Toyo, cooper Falken Kuhmo. If you know you are bad on tires anyway its a cost effective way to go. That's what one tire costs at the chain places.

I took them in today to have them looked at and they gave me $106 credit towards new tires (Paid 54 new per tire) so I switched to some Kumho Ecsta AST's with 15" rims, 205/50/14 from 195/60/14 stock b13 rims. was $320 with tax and everything...

That looks crazy... You can see it wore more on the inside of the tire... This is how mine just were

And these are the new rims / tires
