You know why they look identical right? Because all Mishi did is copy someone else already proven product and produce it hella cheaper with hella cheaper materials and manufacturing methods.

I wish I had pictures of when I had a Mishi next to a Koyo, you could see the Mishi core was crooked, half the time people told me they wouldn't mount properly because it wasn't square and the other half the time there were random leaks in the core. I'm all for buying cheaper shit but not for my car but then again we are driving 20 year old FWD taxi cabs [/QUOTE]

how many ways is there really to make a radiator? . eventually everyones shit is going to look the same. Its the same with headers exhaust etc....

^Posting again like I did in post #41 lol.

^Mishimoto beside the KOYO. The quality is not cheap like Godspeed because that is dirt cheap.

^Mishimotor quality pics here. Not saying it's better than the KOYO at all, but it's not junk.

koyo are durable as F@#$ too, i didnt properly fit my radiator into the support holes accidently and it leaned against my turbo, well it melted 3 of the bars, i pulled it had it fixed and reinstalled it and have been running it ever since. its all about a matter of price with most people.

For me it wasn't price I just wanted to help the community by offering another option for radiators. I was the test fit guy and made sure everything was up to snuff.

actually,I see a minor difference by the cap,but I dont think would harm performance. It looks like it is flat on the Misi and the koyo kinda looks like it has a rounded hose type bung

naw the mishimoto isnt a bad radiator, but when you go and compare the mishi to the koyo you are goingto get koyo owners whom say that koyo is better than mishi and mishi owners who say that its comparable or as good a the koyo.

in the end it really comes down to prefrence. but basicly serve the same purpose, its just a matter of slight quality and name basicly.

there are a few cars on youtube evo to be exact that are making 650-850whp and are running the mishimoto radiator. so its not that it isnt tried and true, its just than when you compare the 2 it becomes a pissin contest.

- I just got my mishimoto fan shroud today. I like it, but I dont think it should be more than $115 shipped. It cost $185 shipped from eBay, but you can get slim fans for 85 or less shipped. I dont think think the fan shroud metal part is worth a $100 bucks. These are not cheap comments, I'm just being real about it and giving honest feedback. Maybe the jig setup for the mass production run is the reason for cost #shrug. Anyway, I'll be getting another one for the daily, bc this one is actually going in the turbo parts pile. I'm posting from my phone, so I'll post pics later.

P.S. The mishimoto fan shroud works on the KOYO as well.
