UPDATE-now that the temp is hot here, it gets hot after 10 miles on the hwy, or 20 minutes of downtown driving. slow downtown driving with the fans on keeps its coolest the longest, any more ideas?

how do i burp the air bubble? never had one before.

Aha there is your problem. There is a bleed screw in the top right corner of the thermostat housing. Unscrew it and leave rad cap off and poor coolant in until it leaks out of the bleed hole, put the screw back in and tighten it. Then with radiator cap off squeeze all of the rubber hoses and get all bubbles out.

Actually nope, I did mine without the car running more then once. Then I tried the car running trick and saw no difference

This is susally a NX problem. I think your airflow is restricted. Check the radiator for blockage.

UPDATE #2!- i tried your procedure vadim, as soon as i took the check "bolt" out (you said screw, mine was a bolt), it immediently started pouring coolant, and did for two minutes!

sooooo i figured let it go down and still burp it, which i did. i burped and poured and burped and poured. i even refilled it with some engine ice performance coolant, to no avail. still doing the same thing

SO, could this anyway be a thermostat? im going to try that, and flush the radiator with that flush stuff they sell. if those dont work, am i down to rad/H.G./W.pump?

EDIT- i also NEVER have seen white/any smoke from it.
