it sounds like your system was losing pressure and on first crank the fuel system did cycle the fuel and prime and thats why it didnt catch and then it did.

could have had a small leaqk in the system to cause this type of issue

/\ that would explain why it would catch after i cylcle the key . But i think ben maybe right about the check valve . Now 255lp is a high volume and the other is a ???? Damn brain fart !

mine works that way i'm not having any issues with it works great

in my case the lines get filled almost instantly no starting issues to me i only noticed that it doesn't hold the pressure. looking in other angle thats nice not leaving pressure in the system because in case of accident in case a gas line gets broken is less risk of explosion or fire, also when doing changes i no longer have to remove the FP fuse to release the pressure

Not here at least. This was my fuel pressure for about 3 months. It wouldn't move at all. This is on a stock RR FPR though.

i too have this same type of issue, my car no matter what i do or try it wont hold fuel pressure, however one turn of the key and with the fuel pump priming i get full fuel pressure. just wont hold fuel pressure otherwise

Once I get the Nismo FPR in I guess I'll see if it's the FPR causing it not to hold pressure or the fuel pump.
