well if the timing was off a valve could have had contact with a piston causing it to bend and make that tick noise your talking about.

If it was that it'd do it all the time. It's not there at idle, and picks up with rpm and under load.

I'll try to do one tomorrow. I don't know how good it will work though. All I've got for video is a cheaper digital camera, and with my car being as loud as it is, you may not hear the sound I'm talking about.

remove header
grab a leveler and check primary and secondary flange.. if warped new gasket will not fix

need to take to machine shop so they can level it out

it happens when car bottoms out

It's not leaking where the primary meets the secondary. If it's leaking it's at the head lol.
