Yeah.. I think I may just wait for a better deal to come along and just drive slower with my 4 gears I guess just a clutch it is..

Why don't you buy a 5th gear kit and rebuild 5th in your current trans?

Well the transmission case has a cracked mount hole which can be seen here (http://www.sr20-forum.com/general-sr20/33793-broke-my-trans-mount.html)
and it leaks too.. I'm pretty sure its just the main seal but who knows.. haven't really put much time into finding the leak. Also the 5th gear kit would cost me around 200 to get, 2 days worth of labor and a big ass headache xD

Ouch, that's the first I've seen of those pics. I noticed when I was under the car changing my knock sensor that I have a leak, though it isn't bad. Had a spot of fluid dried up on it about the size of a quarter, enough to make me wonder when it will get worse though.

Yeah.. Try to find it while you can before it gets so bad that you go to drain the oil and only 1-2 quarts comes out when it takes ~3.5 LOL

Yeah those pics were from when my clutch would grab and the mount wasn't in the greatest shape... Being able to chirp into 3rd was awesome but that put a huge strain on the mounts haha

I should have snapped a pic of it, but it's obvious where it is :P right on the bottom of the tranny, it seriously hasn't actually leaked enough yet though to even make a drip on the ground :P it just looks like a quarter sized wet spot on the bottom of the tranny. couldn't even wipe it off with a towel it was so little.

That's good that its not that much! Sometimes mine doesn't leak then sometimes it'll have a puddle that's like 4in x 4in LOL so bad... Next time your under there you should take a pic though

Will do. Will probably be under there this week since my seal on the oil pan is garbage and I am leaking a good bit of oil (I lose 1/4 quart every 3k miles) and it's covering the pan and just looking ugly.

Oh yeah, I know. I'll probably buy a whole new oil pan as well, since this one is collecting some surface rust.
