Bump this up!
So has your car been doing this again? I can't get my fuel pump to prime. I've checked over all the ground wires just like you and everything is to spec. I have a Gio basic board ECU and I thought that maybe something could have been wrong with it, so I plugged in the stock ECU just to see if it would make the pump prime and there was no change. Just for kicks, I took two pieces of wires and hooked them to the old fuel pump on the battery and discovered that it is still good! This is the only thing keeping me from cranking up.

New nismo fpr
New starter
New 255 lhp pump
New battery
Good alternator
Harness is complete and not all hacked up
Fuel pump fuse in fuse box is good.
I changed the relay (green fuse under the hood as it was making a funny noise) Still nothing. What else should I check?

Where are your ECCS grounds? Make sure they are grounded correctly.

Time to get out that multimeter and check for voltage at the fuel pump when you turn the key. You need to work backwards from there. No fucking around.
It could be a handful of things. Best to start at the fuel pump and see what's happening with the voltages.

Thread-jack fully complete?

It is nice and warm now so I have no idea if the problem is fixed, I just bought a 87 Sentra station wagon with push button 4WD to drive daily because my current daily is falling apart.

I have no idea if the cold start issue is still going to happen, in my eyes that is someone that isn't me turns to fix .

I don't mind the thread jack at all, you are good people MR.

I guess I'll start a new thread next time. I seriously didn't consider this a thread jack with me having the same problems . Anyway thanks, I'll get it figured out one way or another. I seems like it is something minor.

Your good with me bro.

Ok so if you connect your old pump it primes? Then its the 255 pump..
Don't forget to check the fuse ..in the fuse box under the dash..and make sure your ignitor is good..

The signal to cut on the pump comes from the ECU.
