Has it done it again since the ecu swap?

I fixed my starting issue, the ground off the starter was pretty gunked up. I cleaned it and ran a secondary ground. If fires right up now with no hesitation at all. Nice!

Hardwired your pump? As in as soon as the ignition switch is turned on it goes on? It was a Calum Realtime V2 that was on that ECU. Is that a common issue on Calum ECU's? Can that part of the ECU be changed or the can the Calum guts be swapped over to another B13 ECU?

It has not acted up since I swapped the ECU. Glad to hear that your starting problem is corrected as well.

It was a calum basic. I ran a relay from the key on and a dedicated power line to the pump. It's a resistor on the board apparently that can be fixed. It's on the main ecu board not the calum part.

This thing has been kicking my ass. Last Saturday before work the car would not start at all. GF nagged me about driving unreliable cars etc the whole way to my job because she had to get out of bed.

Came home and in a fit of rage start tearing the car apart. It was about 13 degrees inside the car as it wouldn't start at all and I decide to put my hands into the freezing cold fuel tank. Connections are all tight etc...

Grabbed my DMM and measured voltage when turning the key on. All the time it was getting 12 volts at key on to prime the fuel system. No issue there. I concluded it was a ground issue and cut the ground wire and put it directly to the body. That fixed the issue and it has not come back in 1 week of driving.

It was the fuel pump relay not working all the time, it finally shit the bed completely the other day.

Im glad you fixed it. I had the same issue so I just wired it to 12v ign.

is that relay under the hood or beside the fuse panel?

By the ecu I thought.

It is under the hood, I thought it was by the ECU too.
