Thread: FWD SR20 onto AWD GTIR Trans?

I've been looking at pictures of the two blocks, and I am curious if anyone can give me a definitive yea or nae. I'm pretty sure that you would need to swap the oil pans to get it to work....but other than that it should bolt up?

Oil pans can not be swap from a det to de.

even if you do upper and lower?

det block kind of tapers in towards the bottom to clear the center diff of the AWD trans, you will need to swap the block and all to make it work properlly

front diff I think you mean. But yes, I know what you mean about the block being thinner to make the AWD trans work. I'll line it up and see what happens lol.

Center diff is correct.

Centre diff is in the transmission case, Front diff is in the Transfer case.
