Sounds like a waste of time unless your going for a full on race car. Step down is the way to go.

It took some time but you have a nice complete harness and no step down plug to go bad.

If you know how to modify the harness correctly you will never have any issues. The people that have issues are using but connectors and are not sealing the joints.

So, basically if I do pull the b13 harness, I should go ahead and cut the pigtails from the wires that connect to the engine control harness.

Having trouble following exactly what you did...you cut the b13 connectors off and used the b14 connectors and stuck with b14 sensors?? Is that the only difference in the sensors, is the connectors? I thought the voltage, resistance etc. was different. What did you do with the dizzy?

Thanks for the information, I think this will help a lot of people that are wanting to switch over to obdI so that they can use tunercode. I knew there had to be another way besides a stepdown, although the stepdown does seem easier, this would be nice to do and like you said it eliminates the stepdown from the equation.
