Thread: having trouble with the power steering belt

can anyone walk me through changing the power steering and water pump belt. i know the power steering component is supposed to move for the belt to loosen up, but thats hard to get to move. any tips??? please help working on this right now

sounds like you got it, just need to put a little elbow grease into it. You can try to loosen the p/s pump/s pivot bolt on the bottom to let it rotate more freely, just remember to tighten it back up again when you're done.
