Slight surging at high idle.. (Vid)
I have a slight surging at idle, also idling high... Noticed the it a few days but hadn't bothered with it as it wasn't effecting how the car drove. This is warm idle after driving ~35 miles. Not always like this either... Some days it idles high and does this, others it idles at what seems normal (900rpm).

Any suggestions? Should I even bother being it's only a 100rpm surge?
Thinking it could have something to do with my ghetto intake setup, purchased the adapter tonight and will see if that helps...

If it matters, it's a 200sx se-r, timing at 17*, running 93 pump gas. Temperature outside was ~4*F

Could it be something is sucking/leaking in to much air? The only reason why I mention is because I had the same issue with my car idling that high. It ended up being my wastegate being bad and once it was replaced everything was good...only thing is messed with was my MPG...I am not sure if your car is boosted or not...good luck with trying to locate the problem...

No boost. Was running a very ghetto intake setup, which probably has something to do with it. I had been running stock pipe/MAF housing with a cone shoved in the end. I went and picked up a maf adapter plate last night for the cone and installed it today. I will see when i get to work if that fixed the high and pulsing warm idle.
