Thread: 2001 Sentra crank/cam sensor

I get it, sorry I don't know nissan that much I was desperate to find a solution and I missed the 1.8 report. This is my girlfriend's car and she needs the help. I am soon leaving the area and trying to help her out in time for her inspection before I leave.

Your are correct, both the cam and crankshaft sensor are the same part number. It seems like you went aftermarket on the sensors. I believe the A/M are even worse than the OEM ones. You may want to look into the OEM ones. Also, those cars are prone to ECU damage as well, just a heads up.
