93 Primera Not Starting in Park
Hi guys.
Ive got a 93 Primera here, thats just all of a sudden just started to randomly have problems with starting.
What is happening is normally we are able to start it in Park, at the moment it is randomly not starting at all.
To get it to start I have to select Neutral and then it starts no problem.
Then 10 minutes later, it starts no problem in Park.
I'm picking theres a small micro switch in the Gear Selector thats becoming slightly dirty and therefore making the contacts high.
Has anyone come across this problem before ?
I remember about 5 years ago a mate having a similar problem with his nissan skyline, which i would expect uses a very similar if not the same start inhibit circuit.
I'm open to any pointers.
