One more question.

Does anyone have the Nissan part numbers for the B15 clutch kit?

Edit: nevermind, got an Exedy kit from World Pac for $190.

Problem with my new clutch?

Car was fine when I first started driving it around. Now after driving for a few miles, the clutch cable feels very "sticky" in first gear. Like, when I try and ease out on the pedal, it sticks then suddenly releases making it hard to go from a dead stop. When I got to work I moved the pedal in and out a few times and it's very creaky. Thoughts?

At this point I'm really close to selling the car. I don't have the time or money to be doing clutches every weekend. Not my idea of fun.

Just break in the new clutch and hopefully the sticking goes away.. I couldn't find anything online to help other than bleed it but your cable =\

did you ever get a look at the withdrawal lever? theyre known for seperating at the weld right where it pivots.. sounds like it could be getting a crack and slowly seperating..

It looked ok, but it didn't occur to me that it would crack at the time. Not to mention the brand new release bearing is noisy as well.

Not a great time for this to be happening right now.

BTW: The old clutch (OEM Nissan) was trashed. All four of the springs on the disk were rattling around and looked like they were grinding on something.

Well over the last couple days the clutch pedal actually smoothed out and the car is once again drivable. Only problem I have now is the new release bearing that I installed is just as noisy as the well used one I took out. Go figure.
