SER007. Hey man that sounds horrible, something went wrong there with the ws2. You sure you got a real WS2 and not a knock off? I didn't think an Sr20 could sound like that.
If anything just take the muffler off and run open pipe. Would be loud but not at least it will sound like an SR20 again.
this is my twin loop, stock piping,no resonator...and the highest point i rev to is 6k

Yeah when i had mine 3" vrs w/ ws2 80mm done, it sounded really raspy and i hated it. Then once I got the ve in it sound way better. I'm only running a magnaflow resonator with it. I think it's just how that muffler sound with a de.
UPDATE!
I installed a new cat and it sounds worse. To find out that the old cat wasn't cracked just the padding got burned off or something which pushed the honeycomb thingy all the way to the back of the cat. Also ordered a 28in resonator 4in round, so if that doesn't help with the ws2 then i might switch back to the twinloop.
get the biggest resonator you can find and put it in there. make sure it is high quality, it will take out the raspy noise you're getting. I had the same problem when I was NA. I hated the way the car sounded with no resonator. Plus resonance tubes rarely affect performance at all if you get a perforated core.
