Thread: Oil filters on SR20 and oil pressure readings

I've consistantly run Mobil1 5w30 in the past and never had an issue on my turbo sr20's but this was back in like 02-04 and I think that more recently their oils have gone to shit?

Thanks for the input everyone, good to know that I am not the only one seeing shitty OEM filters. Glad I have a pressure gauge or else I would never have known and probably spun a bearing at the track with the sudden pressure drops.
Good info. everyone. Hopefully this will help people in their decision of oil filters next time they go to the store.
