Sounds like wrong gear oil, or maybe a misalignment issue with the axles. To happen twice.

i dont remember what i put in..i wanna say it was some valvoline oil...


please explain how my axles could be miss alinged...i am not be any means looowww or slammed but deffinetly not stock height..i mean agxs and hypercoils so yeah...

my cross member busings are GONE...so maybe aiding into destruction of my trans s


**** and i just locally bought a 107k mile b13 ser lsd trans for a 100$ today ****

smooth talked that one.

need to clean it up but feels ok so far...drain plug was clean,noo where near what my old one lookd like....clean.suppsedly the motor it was bolte to got rod knock.... but hey for 100$ it was a deal...

If you used gl-5 that could be it. Remember we are susposed to use gl-4. I run synchromesh. Penzoil make it and valvoline.

valvoline 85w-140 durablend says GL4 on the bottle.

But it also says gl-5, I wouldn't trust that. That means its better in the industries eyes then gl-4, but it doesn't have the properties needed for our trannies. That a strait gl-4 fluid provide.

Yeah why would it say both gl4 and gl5....?
